VW Beetle

The classic white VW Beetle has been inspiring generations of car owners with its sleek, curved lines, and characteristic engine purr.

The fairly basic interior allows the driver and passengers alike to look past the decoration and experience the journey with all the feeling, smells, and noise from this engineering masterpiece.

The swirling patterns in the pāua shell are the perfect compliment to the beautiful curves of the Beetle bodywork and there is even a striking resemblance to the shape of the chrome-edged headlights.

Dimensions	500 mm x 500 mm
Production	Solid wooden frames with composite layers that are hand painted with acrylic and oil-based paints. Pieces of thin shell are added as inlay details, and clear epoxy resin used to provide visual emphasis.
