100 Scout Mini Concrete Cows
The first 100 Mini Concrete Cows were made to raise funds for the Saints Scout group in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
The scouts, the leaders and parents all helped in the process of painting, preparing, storing and selling the collection of special edition Mini Concrete Cows.
Every cow had a Scout necker scarf (matching the Scout group), and woggle and a numbered certificate.
As it was the 100 year anniversary of scouting this inspired the making of one hundred of these mini cows.
A range of prices were designed and some of the Mini Concrete Cows were painted with special effects, colours and finishes. The local radio and newspaper helped advertise this endeavour and some of the cows were put on ebay too.
It was an exciting few weeks and all 100 cows sold with lots of people wanting more.
So, it was a resounding success that raised awareness of the Scouts and their anniversary as well as raising some money for the Scout group.
