How are The Mini Concrete Cows Made - Production Photos
Many people ask us how are these Mini Concrete Cows actually made. Are they really made from concrete? Well, yes, and here is how we do it.
This series of photos take you through the process of mixing concrete, casting the new cow, removing from the mould, filling any holes, painting white, painting black, painting pink, brown and grey, painting the eyes and then adding that final cheeky white glint in their eyes. Then it is done and you just have to do the same thing over and over again.
There are no machines or robots involved, no spray booths or automation. Everything is hand made and finished.
There are fails along the way and there are accidents as you get close to the end of the process. But these don't happen too often.
The end result is a brand new, happy looking Mini Concrete Cow.
Of course, you can buy a plain white medium Mini Concrete Cow and you can paint it yourself. Give it a go...
